I must say a big thank you to The Cinnamon Trust walkers who took Lou out for me on Saturday and Sunday. They help to keep owners and pets together in times of difficulty – take a look at my recommendations page here. I am so grateful.
Weekends are free phone calls for me, so I’ve been busy catching up with my friends, one of whom lives in Fovant, Salisbury. At the time she was writing for the parish magazine and was scratching her head for inspiration. When I mentioned The Cinnamon Trust she had never heard of them. She was particularly thrilled because she has MS and has recently lost her dog but couldn’t see a way forward to getting another one because of the walking. I don’t know if she can get help but it would be great if she could. She lives on her own so having a pet would be liberating for her. Someone to talk to and a live presence in her life.
This coming Friday 30th September we are holding a coffee morning at Kelly’s Cafe (42 Hiltingbury Road) in aid of Macmillan. Do come along if you can. Time 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock.
My neighbour called yesterday to ask if I could help her with her iPad! I’m not the right person to ask because I struggle myself, but the point is is that she’s 90 years young. Good on her!
