What a strange few days we’ve had. One day wet, then snow and then ice. I’m always really concerned when the temperature drops as it means I have to skate across the car park to reach my car. It is often safer for me to drive to take Lou for walkies than trying to cross the road in front of the flats. It is odd that following the snow, the next morning I didn’t have to de-ice my car. Why was that?.It was so cold round the wreck except at the top where it was almost balmy. Lou bounced around and over the puddles which were now ice. She loved it.
Walkers were not so keen on talking wanting to get home out of the cold.
I miss the usual walkers as one is in Australia, and the others are walking at different times I guess. Feel I’m missing something, and the day is less for that.
The Beacon cafe meets this week and I’m looking forward to that. Stitches are being taken out tomorrow and that’s a good thing.
Back to normal this week I trust.
