An act of kindness

Today I had an appointment at Leighton’s the opticians near Chandlers Ford library, along with my daughter. To save doubling up on the driving we shared one car.The first appointment was 9.15 the other following on. I went first as I had an appointment at home at 10.45. Plenty of time I thought, but you know how difficult it is to choose the right frame. I knew I was running out of time and would have to get a taxi home, but then my knight in shining armour appeared albeit a lady who was one of the receptionists there who offered to run me home after gaining permission.

What a lovely thing to do. I can recommend the shop for all those looking for an alternative to other larger opticians. They even made my daughter a cup of coffee.
