I wanted to try and make a difference. I know that it is a well worn cliché but I decided I would try.

If you have been looking at my Web site then thank you. You will see that I set up the site with the hope that I could attract lonely people to get in touch by blogging or by whatever way they wanted. Unfortunately no-one appears to be answering my call. Is it because we don’t want to admit to being on our own? You can of course feel alone when family have left home, husband gone off to work, or you have a young family. Anyone any age can feel lonely.

I’m asking for help. Can you suggest anything I could do to try and change things a bit, Don’t they say that just one step on a journey is a start.

I know there are those out there who would like a chat, and just maybe we can make some headway.

Of course I have an ulterior motive. I’m getting on in years and don’t want to be invisible.

Gorgeous day and I’m lucky I’ve been out chatting and meeting up with friends.

    Good morning Wendy,

I think you have done such a wonderful thing in setting up the site and as soon as you approached me about the idea, I knew it would be of benefit to so many people.
Remember that the site hasn’t been live for that long and unless people are aware it exists, they won’t know you are reaching out to them.
I would suggest having some leaflets made and distribute them to libraries, coffee shops, post offices etc. I can always help you with that.
Don’t give up, you are doing a wonderful thing x
