First of all what an amazing day. Lovely walk and then home to clean the fridge. How exciting!
Nat came to help with the boring job of washing the skirting boards, something that is challenging for me. I felt guilty when I walked out the door to visit the Wessex Cancer Trust.
I was welcomed by a couple of befrienders and shown around. Enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat. They offer support to those suffering from cancer and their families. There is a lovely room for children to play in. It is all very restful and relaxing.
I’ve booked in for my yoga class next week, and I’ll let you know how I get on.
Am I allowed to wish myself a Happy Birthday for tomorrow?. I know it’s not the right thing to do but who cares anymore. What have I learned over the past year?. To be thankful for what I have and the people Lou and I have met over the year. Fond memories and a good laugh, what more can anyone ask for?
My family are all working tomorrow so the celebrations begin on Saturday. It does seem a bit odd, but I’m going to go to the jumble sale at The Richie Hall on Saturday before going to the charity shop. I haven’t been to a jumble sale in years, but I enjoy a rummage, with the added bonus of maybe finding treasure.
I don’t know if you believe in angels, but I found a white feather on my kitchen floor after I had cleaned it. I don’t remember it being there before.
I like to think it’s my mum.
