Since my unexpected chance to be a star on Radio Solent I have had a few responses to my campaign on loneliness. Needless to say I’m delighted, please carry on reading my blog and leaving comments for me. I am in touch with a lady from Poole, Southsea and Chandlers Ford a result I think you could say.
I had a communication today from someone who said please continue with your blog and especially Lou’s adventures. Believe me she has a better life than me with the help of the Cinnamon Trust walkers and Natalie my regular dog walker. Lou doesn’t even turn round to say goodbye (if she could ) she’s gone without a backward glance. This morning she went to Fleming Park where I believe there were young people’s races being held. Needless to say she was knackered when she got home. I went to the charity shop which as usual was most enjoyable.
Family are coming to supper tonight and they are having fish pie. I hope it tastes as good as it looks. Pudding is a Waitrose ice cream. Preparing the main course is quite enough for me. I really have no qualms cheating with the pudding.
The Jo Cox charity is sending me some badges that say Happy To Chat. It’s going to be challenging to see what sort of response I get.
