My daughter’s rescue cat, who she has had for a couple of years, has been off colour, with she suspected a urinary infection, as he had suffered with this before, so she took him to the vet yesterday.
She was asked to return this morning with cat, when he was going to be sedated and a look around was the order of the day. She received a call to say that there was a pellet lodged in his spine and several others I believe. The vet was unsure if it was historical. She is going to Anderson Moores for specialist care and advise. We should hear more later.
To all those who have cats take good care and if anything is unusual for your moggy get it checked out.
I know there are some very sick people out there, but really what do they gain from shooting, in this case, a defenceless cat. Someone must have shot him either here in Chandlers Ford or at his previous location.
