New pace of life

Here we are arrived safely at Basingstoke Hospital. We left home at 7 o’clock in the semi gloom.

I have to say I’m so glad that I don’t have to travel on the M3 daily. The volume of the traffic terrifies me. Hats off to those who do it every day.

Basingstoke Hospital is a challenge outside and in. A warren  of corriders.

Arrived at the Rotherwick Foundation Cardiac unit to be greeted by a not so friendly member of staff but the nursing staff on the ward are lovely. Had EGG, cannula and Consultant, Dr Bowers has just left me after explaining what is going to happen. Do I want to know. Yes and no.

My nurse for the day is Kerry who is lovely.

Update later. Good luck to me.
