The sun has got it’s hat on

Woke up to see the sun shining. That’s a rare occurrence in this part of the world. Everywhere I’ve been people have been saying they are longing to see the sun and feel it’s warmth, and today at least it does seem that they are getting their wish.

Yesterday morning spent much of the morning in the vet, although the receptionist wasn’t too sure I should have been there but it was a good thing I did because they think Trudy has pancreatitis. Not again I say because of course Lou my red had this condition. In the end had to put her to sleep.  I seem to be a kiss of death for setters. I know that isn’t so but it does feel like it.

Trying hard to get her to take all her pills and to drink. Drink is a problem,  but I cook fish and use the juice to slop into her bowl, so she is taking in some liquid.

Today it seems I’m cooking lunch. Not particularly keen. I was under the impression that everything would be done so no preparation required. I could live with that, but you’ve guessed it, didn’t work out like that. Vegetables to be prepared, along with stuffing.  Hang it.

I’m being very negative at least they are coming to see me.

May I wish you a Happy Easter and let the sun shine on us all.

Happy Easter. I hope you have a lovely day despite having to cook. I also will be cooking but not until this evening. I’m sorry to hear about your dog. Hopefully the medication will help.
