Lunch went pretty well with the family in attendance and we settled down to watch Paddington Bear 2. What a charming film, and I own up to watching it again today before Sky remove it from my list.
Halfway through the viewing, Anne and Derek my lovely dog walkers called with a bunch of tulips for me. Lovely gesture and they look beautiful. I did take a photograph, but I don’t know how to upload it to the blog, and my friend who always posts the pictures for me, is on holiday in Malaysia, so you will have to take my word for it.
Decided to keep Trudy quiet yesterday so she could continue with her recovery, but she wanted to go out last evening in the garden.
Unfortunately it was raining hard, so by the time I had walked round the garden a few times my hair and coat were wet. I couldn’t be bothered to dry my hair and went back to bed. When I woke this morning, my hair was standing on end, but gosh it was silky smooth and glossy.
Today the weather hasn’t improved much, but not lashing down with rain at the moment.
I guess for a lot of people it’s back to the daily grind tomorrow. Time passes so quickly. We look ahead and think four days off lovely, and then bam they’ve gone.
Look after yourself and each other. Hope you didn’t eat too many eggs.
