That Christmas feeling

That Christmas feeling started for me on Monday. I was sat in the lounge when I happened to notice red hats bobbing along the pavement. It was the children off to school, but my favourite day had to be Tuesday.

Mary and I went to the Beacon cafe for our Christmas get together. Lots of people nattering and entering into the festive season.  We had a couple of quizzes, and a carol sing song.

I had asked if I could take Trudy into church for a service. Permission was granted and I was shown my seat. I’m going on Christmas day and I’m excited that I have the opportunity to attend. Evidently the priests are looking forward to seeing Trudy. Let’s hope she lives up to expectations.

Popped into Waitrose for last minute bits and pieces and surprise surprise it was okay. Parking easy and lots of room in the aisles although I believe that’s changed now.

Presents wrapped cards sent and now I just sit back. The only regret is that drinking is a no no, and I did so enjoy a tipple.
