Highs of sadness and joy

The week started as usual. Waiting for my dog walker to arrive when I received a text. Her grandad had died and dog walking and caring was the last thing on her mind. What do you say? . You never know do you.  Grandma and grandad had been together for sixty years. A lifetime.

Next was my visit to the hospital for a CT  scan. First hurdle was to actually find it. Finally success. Waiting for the results.

Thursday was a lovely day. Friends from Sussex drove down for a visit. So nice to see them and catch up with all the news.  Went out to lunch to The Farmhouse in Chandlers Ford. Wonderful food and nice staff and the day was lovely.  Sat just inside the patio door overlooking the garden.  My favourite part was the Elderflower Tonic Water.  So good.

The rest of the week was much the same as last week.
